Examples assume a 1,200 lb steer with 720 lb hanging weight, divided by share. Standard processing is included. Approved custom processing is additional. Your selected share record shows its specific estimate and deposit.
After Your Deposit
Successful payment reserves your share. The payment is recorded in your customer profile, and an updated balance invoice is emailed to you with the estimated processing date as its due date. You may pay portions of the balance, including monthly payments. Each confirmed payment produces an updated balance invoice. Monthly payments are optional manual payments, not automatic charges.
Final Settlement
Actual share hanging weight × agreed rate + approved custom processing − all payments received = final balance. Estimates may change. Any overpayment will be settled with JD Cattle Co. Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to another share. Processing dates are estimates and depend on the animal and processor.
The calculator is independent of purchasing. It creates no reservation, customer record, invoice, or payment.
